Ordination of Father Andrew Morgan 10 January 2016

Father Andrew Morgan was ordained as a priest on 10 January 2016 by Metropolitan Hilarion First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad and Archbishop of Sydney Australia and New Zealand at our humble Church. A function celebrating his ordination was held in the Church Hall afterwards.

T’was a great day.

Father Andrew Morgan was appointed 2nd Priest to the Archangel Michael parish.

His secondary career, General Manager, Service Practice, Asia GE Healthcare has taken him to Tokyo. He is currently assisting at the Yokohama Orthodox Church –

The Orthodox mission in Yokohama began in 1878. This church ever since, overcame hardships, such as the Great Kanto Earthquake and World War II, they kept the faith of the Eastern Orthodox Church in the land of Yokohama.

On returning to Australia Father Andrew took up his duties as 2nd Priest to the Archangel Michael Parish for a number of years. In 2023 he was appointed an auxiliary priest at the Protection of the Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Parish, Cabramatta.
